FMDA Tournament Rules and Regulations

The FMDA has established an extensive set of rules and regulations in order to properly host official sponsored drifting tournaments. Here you will find all the rules, regulations and judging criteria that will be used in every FMDA hosted event.

Official Rules and Regulations

Car Restictions
-RWD Cars Only
-No Higher than S Class Cars
-Positive camber on the front wheels is NOT allowed (Will be checked via Telemetry.

Judging Info
-Three Judges Per Room (All Stationary)
-One Room Coordinator (Spectator Mode - will be watching for contact)
-A Pass does not result in an automatic victory. (Judging still takes place)
-all run replays will be saved incase of any complaints (ie bumping)
-Results from the competition will be posted on the FMDA website.

Judging Criteria

-Runs will be judged on the following criteria:
-Line Taken (How close you are to the apex. Are you able to hold the inside line with pressure from the chasing car?)
-Speed (How fast you take the turns)
-Angle (How far you push your car)
-Style (Linking Turns, Smooth transitions, Passing the lead car. How close can you get to the lead car without bumping)
-Length (How early did you start the drift? How long did you hold it?)



Prizes:
-A Cash Prize will be Awarded for 1st 2nd and 3rd place.
-A complilation video will be made by me that includes all of the best footage from the comp.
-The winner will also get a special segment in the video to show off there drifting abilities.
-All videos will be hosted on the Official FMDA Website

Strict Rules
-No arguments in the tournament room.
-Once the Racers line up to race, they Must mute there microphones and run without talking.
-Once the race is over the Room Coordinator will comment on any incidental or intentional contact.
-a complaint must be filed officially AT THE TIME OF THE RACE. Once you leave the room there will be no response to complaints.

A Violation of any of these rules will result in your automatic disqualification from the tournament. The FMDA maintains the right to disqualify any participant who is deemed to have broken the terms and conditions of the rules and regulations.

is it possible that a list of the banned car list can be put up and the fact that mr and rr is no longer allowed.

Well considering the fact that none of those rules were ever put into effect, and that they would only be used for Round 2 (If it ever happens). Its unnecessary to post anything on here.
